My grandfather passed away last Tuesday. He was 89. I’m officially without grandparents. His sudden death reminded me once again of life’s fragility. It reminded me that one’s action cause significant impact to the lives of others. Over 70 years ago, had my grandad decided not to make that fateful journey to Singapore, tin which he took to change his fortunes, I would probably now be a poor kampung chap, still living in a rundown wooden shack and struggling jobless in some poor forgotten corner of the jungle. One man’s action and his courages decision affects the future of his children and his childrens’ children. I pray for plenty of success to my future generations. I pray they become prominent leaders in business and community, spearheading change to better all our lives for God and Community. Simplifying it all it takes me just one positive courageous decision in a situation that calls for, if it does come, just like what my granddad did.

First loves are always very special in almost everyone’s lives. The memories of the relationship elevates to a level where its remnants represents key historics of a man’s journey in life.
The first woman I ever genuinely loved got married suddenly very recently. I was certainly joyful, relieved mixed with gentle sadness. I can’t fathom the portion where sadness crept into it. Then, however, it reminds back to me that we live a very short life with shorter advantaged opportunities.
I could hauntingly recall moments of our lives then as if it happened just yesterday. The familiar smell and tastes are living vividly in my memory. Those words we spoke rings as crystal clear then as it is now. How I loved her and how in my cunningness I cruelly ejected her from my side many years ago.
How I had always searched for her and how I lose her over and again when I found her. How foolish my years of youth were spent. Tonight I decidedly wrote her a message of prayer that I hoped would be the wings that would lift her through the rest of her journey, safe .
Thus, with that, brings the infinite closure to our epic adventures that span 11 years long.

Hey U!
My parents got back from touring the Mid-East. One of the things they got for me was a crystal key chain. Embossed in its core was the logo of the Jaguar car brand. Mum said Dad hinted on me so that I would take up a driving license.
I’ve been trying to get one since 2 yrs back. but the furthest i got was 1 attempt at failing the ‘basic theory test’! Driving courses are so dreadful and waste of my money. I was told in brunei u had to do 1 test and that is drive forward 100 m and reverse! Thats it and u get your license buddy. The brunei driving test is making a wild mockery of the Singapore’s ‘world class driving education’. right here you have to have a capital of min S$2K and months of spare time just to earn a car license and thats if you are god-damn lucky.
Despite the rigour and reputation for ‘this car license works everywhere’, I have a friend who had to go through another driving test in US, because LKY son’s driving license is not recognised! Ha Ha Ha..bugger! what a big joke man. I told him I’m sorry that he spent so much money and bloody frustration time to get a driving license here only to go through another round of hassle in US. And he says it was so much easier to acquire a license there. Also right here it was very easy to convert american license to singaporean..tsk.tsk..tsk..sad at how we singaporeans worship caucasions.
Nonetheless, the keychain my dad got me, fired up once more my short burn desire to own a car. typically i would scour my fav webs n then thats where i fell in love again…this time not with a woman but with a car..shes’s named Lotus Elan. convertible, two seater sports car..so cool and so rare.. but so cheap…ha ha!! i saw that a second hand type would cost under 40k. oh man…i tell u brudder i nearly got a high singing love songs to it…(recall McD breakfast ad?)
Well i just hope that i have enough spare coins to take up another barrage of dreadful tests and exams..Oh such a bother!

Hey U!
I started my new job last Monday. I’m still adapting to the environment, work culture & my new colleagues. I feel like I’m going through sweeping changes… No more shift hours, only fixed lunch breaks and people seems to go home on time.
I’m working in City Hall district and its certainly a nice change to breath cleaner, fresher air as compared to the air quality in Jurong. Although now i do not have my own private office space or large workstations to mess up my stuff with, I am glad I’m surrounded by people , albeit older and some beyond their prime and i don’t have to work alone anymore so there’s a bit more social interaction.
A bit about my work; My firm owns properties in the old districts, I get to travel and meet people and business people. I’m facing a similar yet different challenge in my line as I get to be more involved in development work which i think is fun. That includes marketing, acquisition, leasing of land & real estate.
So you buggers who thinks that I’m stagnating already, you watch out brudder..cos Im going catching up real quick and i’m giving you a real surprise when i get ahead of you in career… so start to be sorry right now, bitches!
Chao for now!

Hey U!!
The last entry about motorbikes and horse shi* is a bit drama lah. All I wanted to say is my good ol’friend got into a f***** ‘hit-n-bye-bye-bye’ combo accident on a highway at AYE. The poor bugger survived with scratches all over. All I’m saying is quit the motorbike man.
I was trying to be a little bit "National Geographic Channel"…if u get what i mean…but after re-reading it for the 13th time i gave up my aspirations as a journalist and stick to "abang-abang kopitiam n checkers gamer" lifestyle.

Hey U!!
I’ve always liked motorbikes. They represent ruggedness and an extension to masculinity. After all it was was first conceived as a boy’s toy. Motorbikes today are the steel horses of the ancient barbarian warlords. Get a fine and good looking horse, tame it to be your sidekick and start riding it across the ancient plains; exploring with tremendous speeds at the ends of the universe.
Thousands of years later; steel horses today still serves an equal purpose to whoever its master may be. Although, unlike real horses, motorbikes don’t ‘listen and learn’. It has got no feelings or a sense of belonging that makes it the domestic animal alongside the dogs, to be a man’s best friend.
A motorbike cannot sense danger. It cannot interact with its master; to stop and appreciate a critical situation and hints the master to safety.
A good old friend of mine got knocked down by a car. Apparently he got ‘whacked’ from the rear while on the highway’s flyover. There were no details right up to now as the police are still investigating. His bike got impounded while the manhunt for the criminal bastard is on. We were at his apartment and speculating that the driver was drunk or some rich son of a bitch on a thrill ride.
I had the idea of meeting him for the footbal cruncher between Liverpool and Manchester United. In that phone call he revealed the shocking news of his plight. I took pity when i saw him that evening. I could see his yearning to return to normality. Stricken to crutches and a wheel chair, his furthest adventure was a slow and painful trek to the toilet everytime. He’s bandaged on all 4 limbs, his knees are gone and his feet are pretty savaged. He was an absolutely sorry sight.
Nonetheless, he was determined to catch the football cruncher with my help of course. We gave an excuse that we were going out for some air and i got my virgin opportunity to push around a wheelchair!
It was fun having seeing someone at my wicked mercy! Anyway, we got our way to MacDonald’s, got pass the embarrasment and the unhelpful bunch of singaporeans, got seated in one corner and enjoyed the later half of the match. In the end it was a worth the troubles as ManU had shocked host liverpool after a zero-sum 90mins to an extra time winner that widens the gap between the trail leader Chelsea by 12points.
Anyway, back to the horses, my point is motorbikes no matter how appealing it may be is a hazardous machine. Most of my friends I knew who ride bikes faces at least an accident, no matter how minor it be. I’m not against bikes but i’m particularly against the riders who ride those bikes. They are usually overzealous young Malay punks who seem more concern to impress rather than tame the machine first. Its always important to ride a good bike and to ride safe but for these kids they would just simply end up like my friend.

Hey U !!
I’m travelling again to KL this time.. from the 8th to 11th March..There’s not much to like in KL but its simply that i need a "quick getaway from it all"
Critic’s recommendation::
Stay In :: Pacific Regency. Delightful suite apartments situated right in the middle of town. Rooms come with exquisite interior and furnishings. Addressed next to the grand KL tower, do not miss a birds eye view of the sity on the restaurant level. Visit the roof top lounge & pool and basked in the glorious night sky and glittering city lights. Situated in a premium location the hotel promises visitors a good ‘walk only’ proximity to required hot spots. On top of it, its actually inexpensive, if you do your math right you could rent them for 50~60 sing per night. Service is sparkling and look out for the sumptuous morning breakfast buffet spread…yummy. Good value for travelling groups.
Chug along on :: Transtar surface transport. Forget budget airline, miserable KTM and cheap busses. Hit the luxury mode and travel with transtar first class road carriage. You get a massage char, tv and audio entertainment as well as an onboard pretty bitch at your attention. 50+ sing one way.

Happy Lunar New Year to all Chinese in the World. Wish you people prosperity and many more good business deals.
Announcement :: I have decided to retire the rockstar character after 2 succesful posts. I’m done and way tired of pretending. So I’ve decided on a shock career change .. There it goes …Happy Criticizing !!
Ps:: If u dunch-no what ‘anno domini’ means please go back to school to ask ur dear perverted teacher for a good smack in the butt …thank you
